What's Going On?

Justice is the ethical, philosophical idea that people are to be treated impartially, fairly, properly, and reasonably by the law and by arbiters of the law, that laws are to ensure that no harm befalls another, and that, where harm is alleged, a remedial action is taken.

I no longer believe in justice, I have no faith in the law or those who are appointed to uphold it. If we can allow war criminals to run countries while committing genocide, there is no justice. If ignoring the fact that the president of the 'free world' uses AI to demonstrate how he is literally shitting on the populace, there is no justice. If we turn a blind eye while an entire race is wiped out, there is no justice.

What is the point in flying world leaders across the globe to meet and debate while stuffing their faces on the fat of the land they happen to be in and quaffing expensive wine? These people are not the changemakers the world needs. They are, on the whole, self-indulgent, narcissistic, wastes of space. I'm sure there are a few who may have something worthwhile to say but they don't say it and they don't have the balls to rage against the machine that is systematically destroying everything, including justice.

The human race has sold itself out. We bow to the 'Gods of Technology' who run our day-to-day lives through monopolising the media and social media. Our human rights are being stripped away at escalating speed and, as a woman, I genuinely fear for the future. I may not have the wit or the will to exist for too much longer, but it pains me to feel that all the dedication my generation and those that came before me, put into winning rights for women is being undone at a staggering pace. We are travelling backwards and before we know it, will find ourselves in the middle ages with no rights and justice metered out by a tyrannical overlord with a dearth of brain cells.

Intelligent people are leaving social media in droves and I don't blame them. I can no longer bear to watch the clinically sutured news outlets that are too scared to report on anything worth hearing, reading, or watching. However we choose to communicate with our loved ones, the channels are controlled by multi-billionaires who are so out of touch with the world most of us live in it is beyond salvageable.

A heavy one today for which I do not apologise. I sign off with these words from Marvin Gaye.
